Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment and follow radiation protection principles
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for every exam
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and daily/weekly QC tasks
• Assist with interventional procedures, including setup and sterile technique support
• Prepare and run automatic injectors and alter contrast protocols by age group
• Provide safe patient transfers and age-appropriate care from newborns to geriatric patients
• Support teleradiology transmissions and consult with referring physicians
• Rotate through modalities as needed and maintain competency across assigned areas
• Respond to on-call requests and cover shifts as required

Qualifications

• Current ARRT in Radiography (required)
• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
• Able to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality (CT/X-ray)
• Willingness to cross-train in other imaging modalities (MRI, Mammography, NM, etc.)
• Comfortable with venipuncture, contrast administration, and automatic injector operation
• Able to work under stress, rotate shifts, and accept on-call responsibilities
