Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiology procedures using prescribed techniques and proper radiation protection
• Prepare rooms, position patients, and set equipment parameters for high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Administer contrast material and assist with necessary patient preparation
• Maintain and perform quality control on imaging equipment and document quality control reports
• Complete general office duties such as scheduling, answering phones, and patient check-in/out when needed
• Respond to call/on-call assignments and support the imaging team during variable hours
• Keep imaging rooms and equipment clean and ready for safe patient care

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved program
• ARRT registered (required)
• CT certification with a minimum of 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• MRI experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area

Education

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in CT and general radiologic technologist procedures
• Strong knowledge of radiation protection techniques and patient safety
• Experience with equipment maintenance and quality control
• Skilled in patient positioning and contrast administration
• Comfortable with scheduling, basic office duties, and clear patient communication
• Ability to perform diagnostic testing and troubleshoot imaging equipment
