Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and imaging studies that directly impact patient diagnosis and care
• Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure accurate imaging and reporting
• Document all procedures and patient encounters thoroughly in Meditech
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety protocols
• Respond to on-call requests professionally and promptly, providing consistent coverage when needed

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification — required
• Current Florida DOH (Department of Health) license — required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — required
• Minimum 2 years of CT/imaging experience
• Experience with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR — strongly preferred
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities (4-6 shifts/month)

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (preferred)
• ARRT (CT) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong anatomical and medical imaging knowledge
• Experience operating GE CT, MRI and X-ray systems
• Proficient with Meditech EMR documentation
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting imaging equipment
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
