Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility while preserving dignity
Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Support residents during meals and help with feeding as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state certification required; Pennsylvania credentials preferred)
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain if required
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong caregiving skills encouraged to apply
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Strong communication skills, empathy, and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED and an active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of patient/resident care and ADLs
Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Documentation and basic charting skills
Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
