Roles & Responsibilities

Provide essential clinical support and meet educational needs of staff and students
Plan and deliver impactful educational activities from orientation to ongoing training
Guide nursing staff on complex patient care, medication administration, and treatment plans
Mentor colleagues to elevate clinical skills and foster professional growth
Analyze patient data to bridge practice gaps and implement targeted interventions
Collaborate with teams to champion evidence-based standards and innovative improvements
Advocate for patients and ensure top-tier quality, safety, and compliance

Qualifications

Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License for Alaska
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from American Heart Association
Minimum 5 years experience as RN in acute care settings preferred

Education

Nursing degree required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong grasp of clinical standards, evidence-based practices, and quality improvement
Expertise in managing acutely ill patients, medical equipment, and safe medication administration
Skilled in patient assessments, specialized procedures, and patient education
Proficient communicator with leadership to motivate and develop nursing teams
Competent in Microsoft Office, electronic health records, and email systems
