Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with compassion and dignity
Help with mobility and safe transfers, promoting independence whenever possible
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Maintain clear, timely documentation to support quality care and continuity
Support infection control practices and a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Build rapport with residents and families, providing emotional support and respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or GED preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; required CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff
Patient-focused approach with attention to dignity and respect
