Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record resident conditions and report any changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and positioning to prevent falls and skin breakdown
Help create a warm, friendly atmosphere that enhances resident quality of life
Collaborate with the care team to follow care plans and ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (PA or eligible for PA certification)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and infection control practices
Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers
Comfortable documenting care and communicating observations to nursing staff
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
Teamwork mindset and reliability for scheduled shifts
