Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mealtimes, feeding, and hydration to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met
• Support residents with transfers, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises to maintain comfort and safety
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Engage with residents to promote dignity, independence, and social interaction

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible per diem schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of resident care protocols and infection control
• Strong observation and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting and transferring residents
