Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' fine motor, gross motor, and sensory processing skills
• Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve functional goals
• Implement therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists on patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home programs

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist license
• NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist
• BLS certification
• Experience with pediatric patient populations preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones
• Skill in designing and adapting therapeutic activities
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in electronic health records and documentation
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
