Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage patients quickly and efficiently to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to create and implement care plans
• Document patient assessments and care accurately and thoroughly
• Deliver clear patient education and emotional support to patients and families during stressful moments

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Louisiana
• BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) required
• ACLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Previous Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with emergency triage and prioritization
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptable and quick to respond in changing situations
