Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory therapy across NICU, ICU, and ED settings
• Administer nebulizer treatments, metaneb, IPPB, and CPT with precision and care
• Draw ABGs and ensure accurate, timely blood gas analysis
• Assist with intubations and provide skilled airway management
• Monitor and manage ventilators, including Servo I, to optimize patient outcomes
• Document thoroughly in Meditech to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to deliver seamless family-centered care
• Deliver compassionate care to patients of all ages, adapting to their unique needs

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital respiratory therapy experience
• Must-have experience in ICU, NICU, and ED settings
• ABG draw proficiency and BLS certification required
• Servo I ventilator and I-Stat experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-first attitude
• Comfortable floating to different units as needed to support patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures including nebulizer, metaneb, IPPB, and CPT
• Skilled in ABG collection and interpretation
• Proficient with ventilator management, especially Servo I
• Comfortable using Meditech for electronic documentation
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-acuity situations
• Understanding of neonatal through adult respiratory care needs
