Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide intraprocedural care to patients during GI/Endoscopy procedures
• Assist with colonoscopies, EUS, ERCP, bronchoscopies, and Ion cases
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system
• Clean and maintain scopes and endoscopic equipment
• Work in a 1:1 patient ratio to give focused, high-quality care
• Collaborate with the care team and float to other units as needed
• Participate in call rotation for nights and weekends
• Respond to call within 30 minutes when on-call

Qualifications

• Active RN license ready to submit
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent GI/Endoscopy experience
• Previous GI experience is a must
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Ability to meet the 60-mile radius travel requirement
• Valid driver's license required
• Comfortable working in a Level I Trauma facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of intraprocedural care in GI/Endoscopy
• Familiarity with scope cleaning and handling
• Understanding of common GI cases: colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, bronchoscopy, Ion
• Strong charting skills with EPIC
• Ability to self-schedule and collaborate with the team
• Flexibility to float and support other units
• Knowledge of call protocols and response expectations
