Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration, ensuring patients' nutritional needs are met
• Support patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to maintain comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and families
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active LNA licensure in Vermont or New Hampshire (or compact eligibility where applicable)
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to report on time for night shifts
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption required
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to work the scheduled pattern, including every other weekend
• BLS/CPR certification preferred (or obtained upon hire)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Knowledge of LNA scope of practice and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Comfort with electronic health records and basic medical equipment
