Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families
• Help patients with mobility, transferring, and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
• Communicate effectively with nurses and other healthcare team members about patient status

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification (e.g., American Heart Association)
• Ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion and empathy for patients at various stages of care
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant principles and practices
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Effective communication with diverse patient populations
• Ability to handle physical tasks using proper body mechanics
