Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and respectful care to elderly residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support mobility and transfer needs to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
• Document care provided accurately and follow individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Must have completed COVID-19 vaccination or have a documented medical/religious exemption
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times

• Knowledge of resident care principles and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Empathy, patience, and a friendly, caring demeanor
• Attention to detail when documenting and following care plans
