Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in emergency situations
• Triage patients quickly and accurately based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in real-time
• Educate patients and families on conditions and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior experience in an emergency department or acute care setting
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
• Skilled in patient assessment, triage, and stabilization
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to remain calm and composed during emergencies
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
