Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center
• Triage, assess, and stabilize patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical and behavioral health conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced 101-bed Emergency Department
• Coach and provide real-time feedback to support seamless teamwork and maintain a positive, safe environment
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner and keep patients and families informed throughout their visit
• Adapt quickly and flexibly across all sections of the ED, ensuring every patient receives exceptional care

Qualifications

• Current RN license and at least 2 years of nursing experience, including a minimum of 1 year in an emergency room setting
• Must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications before starting; ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ visits/year) is strongly preferred
• Previous HCA experience is a plus, but a passion for teamwork and real-time coaching is a must
• Flexibility to work in all sections of the ED and adapt to a dynamic, ever-changing environment
