Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean clinical environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays, impressions, and photographs
• Educate patients on orthodontic treatment plans and oral hygiene
• Manage patient records, appointments, and follow-ups using Denticon
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience
• Prior orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• X-ray certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Experience with Denticon dental software
• Understanding of dental terminology and infection control
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
