Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate physical therapy assessments and treatments to help patients restore function and mobility
• Develop individualized care plans that align with each patient's goals and progress
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, safety, and injury prevention
• Empower patients to achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Michigan (or ability to obtain one)
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred
• Must complete Trinity-specific competency testing and health screening requirements
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of physical therapy principles, modalities, and treatment techniques
• Skill in patient assessment, mobility evaluation, and care planning
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation and electronic medical records
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as an active team member
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
