Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision and compassion
• Position patients and adjust equipment to capture the best possible images
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients, yourself, and your team
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure the work environment is safe and ready
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EHR

Qualifications

• Active licensure and verification as an X-Ray Technician (required)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or as applicable to assignment)
• DCI/BVP certification
• Willingness to obtain EDAP I and II or ENPC within 60 days if assigned to the ER
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or official declination
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Flexible availability, including possible strike assignment coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in X-ray positioning and imaging techniques
• Strong commitment to radiation safety and infection control
• Skill in operating radiographic equipment and navigating EHR systems
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Detail-oriented with a passion for quality patient care
