Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data, and respond quickly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and adjust individualized care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families through challenging health journeys
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and patient safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• ICU or critical care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass required health screenings, drug screen, and background check

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols
• Skilled in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced cardiac life support
• Proficient in IV therapy, medication titration, and emergency response
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards
