Shift Type: Two shift options available: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM, or 5 x 8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM; plus 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI and Stroke coverage.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and respond confidently to changes
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including STEMI and stroke interventions
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
• Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families before, during and after procedures
• Document patient data accurately and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification required
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Previous Cath Lab experience preferred
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation for STEMI and stroke coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and Cath Lab equipment
• Excellent critical thinking and quick decision-making under pressure
• Compassionate patient communication and teamwork
• Proficiency with basic pharmacology and cardiac medications
• Flexibility to adapt to varied shift options and on-call responsibilities
