Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans with precision and care to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, explaining each step to ease any anxiety
- Monitor patients during scans and promptly respond to any changes in condition
- Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver timely, accurate results
- Keep imaging equipment clean, calibrated, and ready for every scan
- Document patient details and scan results accurately in the medical record
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification required
- DCI/BVP certification required
- Experience in CT imaging is preferred, but dedicated candidates with relevant training will be considered
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to complete Prime health screening, drug screening, and background check requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of computed tomography (CT) techniques and protocols
- Knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety
- Strong communication skills and a caring, professional bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for documentation and image management
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient care
