Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening mammograms with a patient-centered approach
• Conduct diagnostic mammography exams to assist in accurate diagnoses
• Complete quality assurance (QA) procedures to ensure imaging equipment and techniques meet standards
• Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures
• Review images for quality and collaborate with radiologists to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

• Registered in Mammography (required)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Proficiency in quality assurance processes

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of mammography positioning and imaging techniques
• Understanding of radiation safety and patient care standards
• Strong attention to detail in image evaluation and QA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
