Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during exams, procedures, and adjustments
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to the highest standards
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
- Deliver a warm, comfortable experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Orthodontic Assistant certification preferred
- Current Maryland dental radiography certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in orthodontics is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly chairside manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative dental team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols
- Understanding of dental radiography techniques and safety
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to connect with patients and ease dental anxiety
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
