Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to maintain optimal oral health
• Take and process dental x-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment
• Document patient care and treatment plans with precision and confidentiality
• Provide exceptional patient comfort and build trusting relationships

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dental environment
• Prior experience in a dental setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Skilled in taking and developing radiographs
• Excellent patient education and coaching abilities
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with dental software and record keeping
