Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient-centered dental hygiene care, including cleanings, assessments, and preventive treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health
• Partner with dentists and support staff to ensure efficient, comfortable visits and a seamless patient flow
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow strict infection control and safety protocols
• Provide dedicated coverage during FMLA leave to keep the practice running smoothly for patients and the team

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygiene license in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong clinical skills with a gentle, patient-first approach
• Experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work the 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and preventive care
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a busy dental setting
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care
