Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging exams on diverse patients, including trauma and stroke cases, using state-of-the-art GE scanners
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic results for optimal patient care
• Administer contrast agents and IVs, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Maintain precise documentation and imaging records in Meditech EMR
• Uphold strict safety and infection control protocols in a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment by prioritizing urgent imaging requests and multitasking effectively

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (R) certification - a must have for this role
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 6 months of recent acute care hospital CT Tech experience
• Trauma and stroke imaging experience is a big plus
• Solid IV skills for contrast administration
• A positive, customer service-focused attitude with great communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with GE CT equipment (Revolution 512, Evolution 128, and 64 slice scanners)
• Comfort working with Meditech EMR system
• Deep understanding of CT anatomy, positioning, and imaging protocols
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume setting
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure
