Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric ICU patients
• Independently admit and manage ventilator-dependent patients using Servo-U
• Set up and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive methods
• Monitor and adjust bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation as needed
• Document patient care accurately in Epic and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
• Respond quickly to respiratory emergencies and support families through stressful moments

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
• Current PALS certification required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active or compact Georgia state license (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with Servo-U ventilator, heliox therapy, and high frequency ventilation
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced mechanical ventilation management (Servo-U, Drager VN500)
• Bubble CPAP and non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP)
• Nitric oxide and heliox therapy administration
• High frequency ventilation (HFOV/HFJV)
• Epic documentation system
• Neonatal and pediatric critical care best practices
