Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care with dignity and respect
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and injuries
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
• Document care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families while communicating effectively with the care team

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania CNA certification
• Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
• Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Successful completion of background screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to follow individual care plans and document accurately
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
• Physical stamina for bending, lifting, and prolonged standing
• Patience and empathy when caring for residents with varying needs
• Team collaboration and basic computer documentation skills
