Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
• Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Advocate for patients and their families with empathy and clarity
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical thinking and rapid decision-making
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Ventilator management and airway support
• IV therapy, medication administration, and titration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Emotional resilience and a positive attitude
