Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments to pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, physicians, and nurses
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
• Educate and support families and caregivers in carrying out therapeutic techniques
• Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to treatment planning

Qualifications

• Current Oregon state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and create evidence-based treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic hospital environment
