Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
• Create personalized treatment plans to help each child reach their communication goals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to provide comprehensive care
• Document patient evaluations, progress, and outcomes accurately
• Support and educate families so they can reinforce therapy at home
• Contribute to a compassionate, team-oriented healing environment

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Active BLS certification (required)
• Strong clinical evaluation and treatment skills
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Familiarity with pediatric rehabilitation and family-centered care
• Proficient in documentation and electronic health records
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients and families
