Shift Type: Per Diem, 6-hour shifts as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to meet each patient's goals
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a pediatric setting
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to coordinate care
  • Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support communication at home
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for every session

Qualifications

  • Current Washington state Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric patients is a plus
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, child-friendly environment

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong foundation in speech and language development
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Proficient in electronic health records and clinical documentation
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
