Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients presenting to the Emergency Department with a wide range of conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per physician orders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient status, and respond quickly to emergencies
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families during stressful situations
• Document accurate and timely patient information in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or a compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred
• Previous emergency department or critical care experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing assessment and triage
• Critical thinking and quick decision-making
• IV insertion, wound care, and emergency interventions
• Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Teamwork and collaboration with physicians and staff
