Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for procedures
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during operations
• Ensure the operating room is sterile and fully stocked before each case
• Monitor and manage surgical supplies to keep the OR running smoothly
• Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or equivalent
• BLS certification required
• Previous experience as a Surg Tech in an operating room is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and aseptic technique
• Understanding of operating room protocols and patient safety standards
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Adaptability to handle a variety of surgical cases
