Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting while preserving dignity
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Communicate clearly with nurses, families and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing or eligible for state certification
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Up-to-date immunizations and TB testing per facility policy
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and supporting resident mobility
Basic clinical skills such as taking vitals and documenting care
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety principles
Good observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
Reliable time management and the ability to work as part of a care team
Compassion, patience and strong interpersonal skills
