Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Support safe transfer and positioning of patients, following facility protocols
Adhere to infection control practices and promote a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Willingness to comply with facility-required immunizations and background checks
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting; previous long-term care or acute care experience is a plus
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient hygiene and mobility assistance
Basic vital signs assessment and observation skills
Understanding of infection prevention and safe patient handling
Good documentation practices and timely communication
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to build rapport with patients
