Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support safe mobility and transfers while following proper body mechanics
Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents
Communicate compassionately with residents and families to support person-centered care
Document care activities and observations clearly in resident records

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania preferred)
CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable upon hire
Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
Dependable, patient-focused attitude and strong teamwork skills
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Basic understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Clear communication and interpersonal skills with residents and team members
Reliable time management and ability to follow care plans
