Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide compassionate, respectful bedside care and support resident dignity
Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
Help with safe transfers and mobility assistance to prevent falls
Support mealtime assistance and monitor nutritional intake
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep residents safe

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Previous experience in long term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification (state-specific)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living and resident care needs
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Comfortable with basic clinical tasks like vital signs and mobility assistance
Ability to document accurately and communicate clearly with nursing staff
Compassionate interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
