Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and status accurately and timely
• Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful patient environment
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and the care team
• Support patient dignity and emotional needs through attentive care and empathy
• Follow facility policies, infection control procedures, and documentation standards

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Georgia certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and physical aspects of patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or similar setting is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient hygiene, ADLs, and bedside care
• Reliable vital signs measurement and accurate documentation
• Familiarity with basic infection control and safety practices
• Good interpersonal skills for patient and family interaction
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
• Teamwork mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
