Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) to promote dignity and comfort
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, supporting independence whenever possible
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions promptly and accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and hygiene best practices
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care
• Support care plans by reporting changes and participating in team huddles and patient care planning

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (required)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and health screenings as required
• Comfortable working directly with patients and supporting physical care needs
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude

Education

• CNA certificate or state-approved nursing assistant program completion
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care skills and comfort with assisting ADLs
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and PPE use
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Good verbal communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to follow care plans and report observations to nursing staff
