Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor, and circulate during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Assist in advanced procedures including PCI, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and lead extractions
• Operate GE and Philips x-ray systems, as well as Volcano IVUS/FFR equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Collaborate with cardiologists, RNs, and other team members to deliver exceptional care
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab or EP Lab experience
• Certification as RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in scrub and monitor roles for both Cath and EP lab procedures
• Ability to float to prep and recovery areas as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in GE and Philips x-ray imaging systems
• Experience with Volcano IVUS/FFR and Merge Hemo documentation
• Strong understanding of cardiac and electrophysiology procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
