Cath Lab Technologist - EP Lab
Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub, monitor, and circulate during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Assist in advanced procedures including PCI, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and lead extractions
- Operate GE and Philips x-ray systems, as well as Volcano IVUS/FFR equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Collaborate with cardiologists, RNs, and other team members to deliver exceptional care
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab or EP Lab experience
- Certification as RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in scrub and monitor roles for both Cath and EP lab procedures
- Ability to float to prep and recovery areas as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in GE and Philips x-ray imaging systems
- Experience with Volcano IVUS/FFR and Merge Hemo documentation
- Strong understanding of cardiac and electrophysiology procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
