Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced trauma center
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to interventions
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Iowa or compact state licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a dynamic environment
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER or critical care experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in electronic health records
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment
