Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulating roles in complex cardiovascular surgeries including open heart, vascular, and robotic procedures
• Assist in critical cases such as Type A aortic dissections, CABG, valve repairs, and ECMO insertions
• Collaborate with a highly skilled surgical team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Ensure patient safety and sterile technique during all operative procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergency surgeries and weekend cases

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of exclusive CVOR experience in cardiac and vascular surgery
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, high-stakes setting
• Team player with strong communication and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in scrub and circulate techniques for cardiovascular procedures
• Proficiency with EMR systems and surgical equipment
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac and vascular surgical protocols
• Familiarity with sterile field management and infection control best practices
