Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients in a 15-bed Level II Trauma PICU
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Monitor patients with continuous CR monitoring and respond to critical changes
• Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team
• Utilize Meditech/CPN for documentation and communication
• Maintain a calm and focused approach in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU RN experience
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Ability to work under pressure in a teaching hospital setting
• Strong patient care and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• IV starts and blood draws
• TPT placements and CR monitoring
• Meditech and CPN electronic medical records
• CRRT and APHON preferred
• Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred
