Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed with precision and care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting
• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in IV insertion, medication administration, and wound care
• Skilled in using electronic medical records (Epic experience preferred)
• Excellent critical thinking and prioritization abilities
• Comfortable with telemetry and monitoring equipment
• Empathetic approach to patient and family interactions
