Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, personalized rehabilitation care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage complex medical equipment
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and discharge planning
• Document patient progress accurately using Meditech system
• Float between interconnected units to support patient needs as required

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg or Rehabilitation nursing
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation nursing principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Adaptability and willingness to float across units as needed
