Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced 32-bed ED
• Perform triage, assessments, and emergency interventions including conscious sedation and splinting
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, EMTs, and medics to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patients using advanced equipment like Zoll Lifepaks and GE monitors
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech EMR system
• Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and unit needs while upholding safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department experience as an RN
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC certifications required
• Flexible, professional, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in emergency nursing procedures including triage and conscious sedation
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple critical patients simultaneously
