Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications including procedural sedation with Propofol, Etomidate, and Ketamine
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver trauma, cardiac, and stroke care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent acute care Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
• CEN certification or Meditech experience preferred
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing and trauma care
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Meditech preferred
• Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities
• Ability to work in a high-volume, Level II Trauma ED
